Külapillimehi Otsides

In 2025 we documented Estlaager Trio’s concert tour across Estonia, “In Search of Village Musicians.” The aim was to find local folk musicians in rural areas, archive their music, and answer the question: “Who is a village musician?” Over the course of four months, we visited seven Estonian counties and captured plenty of instrumental performances on camera, along with 24 interviews with local musicians. In total, we gathered 47 hours of footage.
